Media Studio Build — Tampa Bay, FL

Aug 18, 2026

A job that took us out to Tampa Bay. An emptied-out office in Tampa Bay that had to become a media studio —
and it had to look right on camera, not just in the room.

That changed how we worked. We'd install, then pull camera footage and
watch it back, because wainscoting and trim that reads fine to the eye
can flatten out or throw the wrong shadow under studio lights. Adjust,
shoot again, check again.

The build had its own problem. Commercial construction means metal
studs, and metal gives you nothing to nail into. We backed the walls
with thick plywood panels and set the wainscoting and trim with nails
and heavy adhesive, so the profiles would hold at the depth the design
called for.

We were hired to do the whole transformation in a few days and worked
around the clock to hit it. I handled the design as well as the build,
which meant making calls in real time rather than waiting on drawings.
Ceiling, walls, wainscoting and paint all came together inside that
window, and the client was thrilled with the result.
