The sun room in this home had water-damaged drywall, cracks, popped tape and nails, and peeling paint. They felt it was time for a renewal, so they hired me to fix the drywall issues and refresh the space with new paint. I first fixed the roof leak and got it sealed up, then replaced the water-damaged drywall and made all the repairs before painting. You can see how much a new paint job after drywall repairs can change a space.
The hardest part of this project was the amount of drywall repair needed on the ceiling. Patching, sanding, and smoothing it all out overhead was physically demanding, and it took a high level of attention to detail and plenty of patience to get the meticulous work right.
I am proud of how it turned out. It proves how much a well-planned paint job paired with solid drywall work can make a space feel completely different. The homeowners were thrilled and started using the room again right away.
